Patek Analytics was founded by Debra Patek, a strategic marketer with 20 years of experience in marketing, economic modeling and strategic research. Debra offers an integrated approach to business problems, balancing insights gained from research and analysis with a learned appreciation of real world constraints.
Prior to starting her consulting company, Debra was a co-founder and vice president of analytics at ThinkVine, Inc., a marketing science company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. There she oversaw a team of analysts and conducted advanced analytics projects for clients across a wide variety of industries, such as consumer package goods, financial services, retail, media & advertising, manufacturing and high tech. She brings considerable expertise in a number of advanced analytical techniques, such as choice modeling, segmentation, demand estimation and loyalty modeling.
Before joining ThinkVine, Debra was director of analytics at marchFIRST, Inc., a digital marketing & technology services company, and pricing manager / economist for the L.M. Berry Company, a division of BellSouth.
Debra has a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati and has fulfilled the course requirements for a Ph.D. (with specializations in Industrial Economics and International Trade). She is a member of the National Association of Business Economists, American Marketing Association, and was a faculty member of the Professional Pricing Society.
